Who we are
SEOHero (seohero.app) is an SEO platform operated in partnership with Fourwrd (fourwrd.nl), based in the Netherlands. We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions? Contact privacy@seohero.app.
What data we collect
We collect account data (name, email, password hash), data about the websites you add and the audits we run on them, and (only with your permission via Google OAuth) read-only Google Search Console and Google Ads data, which you can revoke at any time. Payments are handled by Mollie; we never store full card details. We only use functional cookies: a session cookie and your language preference, no tracking cookies.
Why we process your data
We process your data to provide the service (audits, reports, article generation), to bill your subscription, to secure and improve the platform, and to send you service-related messages. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, account and website data are deleted or anonymised within 90 days, unless we are legally required to keep them longer (for example invoices under tax law).
Sharing & subprocessors
We share data only with subprocessors needed to run the service: our hosting provider, Mollie (payments), Google APIs (Search Console and Ads, at your request) and an AI provider for article generation. All subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements.
Your GDPR rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, and object to or restrict processing. Email privacy@seohero.app and we will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Data processing agreement (DPA)
For B2B customers, SEOHero acts as a processor for the website and visitor data we analyse on your behalf; you remain the controller. Our standard DPA (covering subprocessors, security measures and data deletion) is available on request via privacy@seohero.app.
